Woman injured after dog attack in Letchworth.
A woman in Letchworth needed medical treatment after she was bitten by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier which had attacked her dog.
The woman in her 30s was walking with her husband on Western Way at 1.45pm on February 26.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was alone and without a leash when it bit their dog on the leg and neck.
When the couple tried to remove the dog it bit the woman on her hands.
Three young men ran towards them before muzzling the dog. They were joined by an older man and walked towards the flats on Eastern Way.
Some of the men were described as being:
aged 16-18, 5ft 6in tall, of a slim build and with short brown hair. He was wearing dark coloured trousers and a navy blue sports jacket.
aged 16-18, 5ft 8in tall, of a slim build and wearing a green jacket and a baseball cap.
A man on the bicycle is described as being aged 40-45, of a slim build and with a grey beard. He was wearing black trousers and a black and grey jacket.
