Water shortage at Peterborough City Hospital
A burst water pipe has caused serious disruption at Peterborough City Hospital.
All outpatient clinics and surgeries for today have been cancelled and only life, limb or sight saving procedures will take place.
Measures have been put in place to ensure patients have toilet and hand-washing facilities.
Visitors will only allowed into the hospital in extenuating circumstances.
There is a divert in place to neighbouring hospitals and all patients who require non-urgent treatment will not be allowed entry to the building.
