Ben Godfrey: Norwich City midfielder to spend the rest of the season at Shrewsbury Town

Shrewsbury Town have extended the loan of Norwich City midfielder Ben Godfrey until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has played a key part in helping the Shrewsbury climb to 2nd in the League One table, making 24 appearances.

Godfrey's initial loan was due to expire next month, but he will now see out the rest of the campaign in Shropshire.

The former York City youngster signed a new four-year contract with Norwich in the summer.
