A dab hand with the dirt: the artist getting international acclaim for his muddy masterpieces

He is the artist leading a life of grime creating artwork from the mud caked on the back of white vans.

Rick Minns is also known as Ruddy Muddy because of the masterpieces he designs in the filth on white vans.

He calls it "graffilthy" rather than graffiti and it was shielding his children from the smutty images usually scrawled on dirty vehicles that inspired him.

Ruddy Muddy's creations can take up to five hours to craft and he's even developed a way to make them more permanent so they can be sold.

He likes to keep things topical so among his subjects recently have been Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Ant and Dec, Bruce Forsyth along with Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn.
