Homelessness on the rise in the East of England

More than 20,000 people in the East of England are homeless, according to the charity Shelter.

In Luton one in 52 people are classed as homeless, either because they are sleeping rough or living in temporary accommodation.

Harlow, Peterborough and Stevenage also feature prominently.
