Heybridge land plum FA Cup tie while Dons face non-league Hyde

It's held by Arsenal, but which teams in the region will create the big 1st Round shocks in this season's FA Cup? Credit: PA

It's one of the longest trips they'll face this season - but Essex part-timers Heybridge Swifts say they are 'very pleased' after being paired with SkyBet EFL League Two side Exeter in the Emirates FA Cup.

The Swifts, who play in the Isthmian League Division One North, were the last team out in Monday night's 1st Round draw.

It's reward for their 4-2 victory in the Fourth Qualifying Round at Haringey Borough

The clubs have met before in the FA Trophy in 2006. Back then Exeter were 3-0 winners at St James's Park.

And while Heybridge plot a 1st Round upset, EFL League One side MK Dons will look to avoid one.

The Dons were drawn at home to Hyde United, who play in the Northern Premier League Division One North.

Peterborough United and Cambridge United will be just as wary.

They host National League sides Tranmere and Sutton United respectively, the latter reaching the Fifth Round of the competition last season before losing to Arsenal.

Colchester United also host non league opposition in Oxford City.

Also hoping for a trip to an EFL club are Kettering Town. They face a replay in the Fourth Qualifying round against Nantwich. But if they make progress, the Poppies will visit League Two Stevenage.

Here are the ties involving the teams in the ITV Anglia region.

  • STEVENAGE v Nantwich Town/KETTERING TOWN

  • Yeovil Town v SOUTHEND UNITED

  • PETERBOROUGH UNITED v Tranmere Rovers

  • CAMBRIDGE UNITED v Sutton United

  • LUTON TOWN v Portsmouth

  • Leatherhead v BRACKLEY TOWN/Billericay Town

  • COLCHESTER UNITED v Oxford City

  • Hyde United v MK DONS

  • NORTHAMPTON TOWN v Scunthorpe United

  • Gateshead v Bath City/CHELMSFORD CITY

  • Exeter City v HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS

Ties to be played between November 3-6
