Kettering shooting: 'I heard a really loud noise, like a gun shot'

A newsagent who called police after a man was shot in Kettering has described hearing a "really loud bang" before he ran out to the street.

Jay Goswami was serving customers at his shop when the victim was assault at Field Street.

It happened at around 5pm on Saturday (October 14) in a residential area in front of shocked families.

The gunman got out of his vehicle and shot his victim before speeding off.

Police sealed off the street and area appealing for witnesses to come forward.
