Betting shop staff save life of pensioner punter - and he thanks them with a song!
Staff at a betting shop are being hailed as heroes after saving the life of a punter who'd failed to turn up to place his twice daily £1 bet.
72 year old Michael Base had collapsed at home and fallen into a diabetic coma.
But staff at his local bookies at Diss in Norfolk were so worried when he didn't appear for a fourth day that they called police.
He sang Bonnie Tyler's Hero to thank them.
Natalie Gray's report is below.
