Luton Town striker Isaac Vassell has joined Championship side Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in his debut season at Kenilworth Road and was being watched by a number of clubs.

However, Birmingham have won the race for his signature with the former Plymouth Argyle trainee agreeing a four-year contract at St Andrew's.

Vassell joined Luton from non-league side Truro City last summer following a recommendation by chief recruitment officer Mick Harford.

Before his move to the Hatters, he was working as a labourer on a building site.

Meanwhile, MK Dons have signed former Hearts striker Osman Sow on a free transfer.
