A special garden built by a community for a 12-year-old girl battling a brain tumour has been opened.

Maisie Lossau from Spixworth near Norwich was diagnosed two years ago. At one point her condition was so serious she had to be placed into a coma.

Thanks to a huge community effort, a special garden's been built for Maisie at the family's home.

Describing the garden, Maisie said “It’s awesome, and I love it”.

Her mother thanked everyone involved in the transformation.

The garden’s meant to provide somewhere Maisie can relax with family and friends, something the community was more than willing to get involved in.
