City splashed with colour as thousands celebrate Norwich Pride
Norwich was turned into a rainbow of colour today as thousands of people marched their way through the City Centre for Norwich Pride.
It's the ninth year of the event which celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
The parade started at City Hall and made its way to Chapelfield Gardens.
It's a chance for people to be confident and proud of themselves and unite together.
A number of organisations and businesses across the region turned out to celebrate Pride including the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The event takes place every year and everyone is invited to join in with the festivities.
The city's streets and high street shops were decorated with rainbow patterns.
This year's event had special significance as it marks 50 years since homosexuality was legalised in the UK.
Thousands of people from all communities walked through the busy streets with painted faces and bright clothing and campaign messages of love and unity.
