Man airlifted to hospital after fight in supermarket

A man in his 20s is in a critical condition after fight inside a Norfolk supermarket.

Morrisons, at Norwich Road in Wymondham, was closed at around 8pm yesterday (Monday) evening while police and the air ambulance arrived.

The victims was treated by medics before being airlifted to hospital.

Three men - aged in their 20s to mid 40s - and a woman in her late teens have been arrested.

Officers confirmed no weapons had been used in the assault and all people involved are thought to be known to each other.

Investigations at the supermarket continued until just after midnight. The store is expected to re-open this morning (Tuesday).
