Man gets ten years on Sex Offender Register after admitting possessing indecent images of children
A man who admitted making indecent images of children has been jailed and placed on the Sex Offender Register.
David Langfield, 29, was jailed for 12-months at Ipswich Crown Court after admitting three counts of making indecent images of children. He’ll be placed on the register for 10 years.
When police searched Langfield’s home in Ashley Road, Harwich last September they found two laptops containing:
One category A film (Category A is the most serious category of abuse imagery)
Four Category B films
Two Category C images
66 images of extreme pornography
Langfield admitted three counts of making indecent images of children, breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and one count of possessing extreme pornography.
Langfield is one of more than 40 offenders arrested during a crackdown aimed at targeting offenders downloading, making and distributing indecent images of children online.
