Raynham Hall to host open day to help restoration efforts
A manor house in Norfolk is holding its first public open day since it was built in the 17th century.
Raynham Hall in Norfolk is a private home, and has stayed that way since it was built in the 1600s, once housing Second Viscount Charles 'Turnip' Townshend - the man credited with inventing crop rotation in Britain.
The latest Lord and Lady - or the 8th Marquess Charles and his wife and Alice - are trying to restore it to its former glory.
Whilst this is the first open day, they have hosted music recitals as well as private tours.
The open day is set to be held on the 12 July.
