Carabao Cup: Ipswich Town to visit Luton, Colchester United handed Aston Villa glamour tie

Ipswich Town will face a tough-looking away tie at Luton Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Town haven't faced the Hatters since the two sides met in The Championship back in 2007, where Ipswich ran out 2-0 winners.

Meanwhile, there's a plum draw for Colchester United who will host Championship giants Aston Villa while Norwich City will take on Swindon Town.

Elsewhere, MK Dons and Stevenage both have away games at Forest Green and Millwall respectively, but Peterborough United are at home to Barnet.

Northampton Town are on the road at Championship club QPR, as are Cambridge United who travel to Bristol Rovers.

Southend United will play their match with Newport County at Roots Hall due to Newport's pitch being refurbished.

The ties will take place on the week commencing 7 August.
