Son of a Gunn: Norwich set to sign promising young goalkeeper on loan
Norwich City have signed highly-rated Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old is the son of Canaries legend Bryan and was part of Norwich's academy before he moved to Manchester in 2011.
"I grew up as Norwich fan and ever since I was a little boy I came to Carrow Road for every home game," Gunn said.
"It’s a great pleasure for me to come back and sign on loan. The main thing for me is to come and get experience, so to mix that in with coming to Norwich is a great feeling."
Gunn will link up with his new teammates once he has returned from representing England at the Under-21s European Championships in Poland.
Gunn is Norwich's second new signing of the summer so far, following the capture of former Barnsley winger Marley Watkins last week.
