Norwich City have a recent history of left-field managerial appointments, and they've repeated the trick again.
It's fair to say that hardly anyone outside of Scotland had heard of Hamilton Academical's Alex Neil when he was surprisingly chosen as the man to take over at Carrow Road in January 2015, but they soon took notice when he guided the Canaries to promotion from The Championship just a months later.
Of course, we now know that the magic faded somewhat and Neil was given his marching orders earlier this year, but that hasn't stopped Norwich from thinking outside the box in picking his successor.
Now, Borussia Dortmund II coach Daniel Farke has become the club's first-ever foreign boss, signing a two-year deal.
Norwich Sporting Director Stuart Webber previously raided the German giants to bring David Wagner to Huddersfield Town, so could Farke have a similar impact in The Championship?
We asked Borussia Dortmund expert Lars Pollmann to give his assessment on whether Norwich have made a wise choice.
