Fans queued in the rain outside the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) shop in Halesworth hoping to pick up a bargain when doors opened for the first time.
All the clothes were snapped up within a few minutes.
EACH head of retail Ian Nicholson said they had a lot of people coming in for the Ed gear.
The new charity shop in The Old Creamery in Angel Link was officially opened by internationally-renowned artist Lucy Loveheart, who trained in Ipswich, Norwich and the Royal College of Art in London.
EACH now has 22 shops across the Anglia region.
Amy Baggott, 30, from Halesworth, and her daughter Darcy, two, were the first to get their hands on an item of Ed’s clothing.
Lucy Loveheart decorated EACH’s first purpose-built kids’ corner where youngsters can play while parents browse the shelves.
She also designed two Christmas cards for the charity.
Ed Sheeran is an ambassador for EACH and has donated clothing before.
Some 100 items sold previously for £8,000, as well as his teenage drum kit which raised £2,650.
