A senior police officer is calling for more homes to have CCTV cameras to help catch criminals in the act.
The Chief Inspector of South Cambridgeshire police says CCTV systems are better than burglar alarms, and that fitting all rural homes with one would help bring down crime in the countryside. He says the lack of cameras in remote areas makes solving crime more difficult.
