A 39-year-old man from Ipswich has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a stabbing.

The attack happened in Ancaster Road at around 6.30pm on Wednesday 8th February.

The victim – a man aged in his 40s - was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment, but died a short while later.

A police scene remains in place in Ancaster Road, which is closed to through traffic between the junctions with Ranelagh Road and Gippeswyk Avenue.
