One of the region's top chefs has adopted a school to share his passion for food.

Richard Hughes, who is Chef Director of The Assembly House in Norwich, is supporting National Adopt a School week, organised by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.

It is a charity that tries to encourage health eating and tackle obesity in children through education. Trained professional chefs and restaurant managers volunteer their time and expertise.

Mr Hughes has adopted Browick Road Primary School in Wymondham and has been showing pupils a new baking skill.
