When a large airship appeared hovering over a Suffolk village some eagle-eyed locals rang the ITV Anglia newsroom to ask about it. After some investigation (talking to the neighbours) it turns out to be a helium-filled hot air balloon designed and built by famous inflatable engineers Lindstrand balloons.

Local engineering firm, Kocurek Excavators, were charged with designing a base for the balloon so it always faces the wind while airborne. The balloon will be used commercially as a tourist attraction, probably overseas. It will be tested in Bramford for a month or so before going back to the manufacturers.
