Schools forced to close as town is left without water
Schools in a Norfolk market town have been forced to close today after large parts of Aylsham were left without water.
Aylsham High, Bure Valley School and John of Gaunt Infant Nursery have all confirmed on their Facebook pages that they cannot open today.
St Michael's School said it does have water and will remain open.
Anglia Water is trying to establish the cause of the disruption - which has left many properties with low pressure or no water at all.
The town's parish church, at Market Place, is inviting people to visit to get a cup of tea or coffee and fill up containers with hot water if they do not have any.
