Councillor resigns after making offensive remarks to a hunt protestor

A Norfolk Councillor has resigned over allegations that he made inappropriate and offensive remarks to a protestor at a hunt in Yorkshire.

Conservative Councillor Charles Carter used to sit on Breckland Council in but was today suspended after the video emerged.

The Leader of Breckland Council, Councillor William Nunn, took the decision saying:
