The mother of Cambridgeshire serial killer Joanna Dennehy says she was once a little girl so caring she would cry if she accidentally killed a garden worm.

Kathleen Dennehy has been speaking for the first time about her daughter, admitting the "world is a safer place WITHOUT her in it".

Dennehy, who went on the run in Norfolk after killing three men, is serving life in prison for her crimes.
