A 12 year old boy from Thetford in Norfolk will find out at the end of the month if he has got into the England chess squad. He is now looking for sponsorship to pay for some professional coaching.

Jaden won his first trophy at the age of 8 at a tournament in Holland where he was named best UK performer. The Thetford Grammar School pupil has been Suffolk champion for his age group two years running.

The youngest ever chess grandmaster was also just 12 when he won the title. He is Sergey Karjakin from the Ukraine.

Jaden's mum says she is used to losing when she plays against Jaden.
