Much loved dad killed in Cambridgeshire crash is named

Tributes have been paid to Chris Clements who died after a crash in Cambridgeshire

A dad left paralysed after breaking his neck while play-fighting in a joke sumo wrestler outfit has died after being struck by car while in his wheelchair.

40 year old Chris Clements, was out exercising his dog by the side of a busy B-road in Cambridgeshire when he was struck by a vehicle last week.

The former council diesel fitter was taken to hospital following the collision with a silver Peugeot Partner at around 2.25pm on Wednesday.

He died in hospital a day later as a result of his injuries, surrounded by friends and family.

Chris, who came from Brinkley lost the use of his body from the chest down after he fell awkwardly in 2006.

His family released a statement describing him as "an inspiration to all who knew him".
