He's coached hundreds of boxers since his retirement from the sport.

Now British and European lightweight champion Jon Thaxton has a whole new class of recruits.

He's set up special classes from his gym in Norwich for children with all disabilities, to help them become more physically active and increase their confidence.

The classes were set up in September and run every two weeks.

The training provides an alternative to standard therapy because it uses the whole body.

Orthopaedic consultant Rachael Hutchinson, who helped set up the class, regularly works with patients with muscular problems.

She says she's already seen improvements in the children, in just a few months.

Disability isn't a limitation for these children.

Instead it’s all about having fun and learning some new boxing moves along the way.

Jon is now hoping to get the word out there and get more kids coming along.
