Police treating deaths of man and woman as "unexplained"

Police say they're treating the deaths of a young man and a woman discovered in a car in Chelmsford as "unexplained."

The bodies of the pair, who are both believed to be in their 20's, were discovered in Fox Crescent just before 11.15am today (December 5th)

Police say enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding their deaths. Next of kin have been informed.

As part of standard procedure, tests were conducted to check for potential noxious substances to ensure the safety of emergency services and the public but the scene was later declared safe.
