An Olympic gold medallist and TV adventurer are put through their paces at new Essex Ninja training centre

Based on ITV's Ninja Warriors programme, the new Ultimate Ninja UK training centre in Colchester opened it's doors today and put two very fit stars through their paces.

Helen Glover, two time Olympic gold medallist and champion rower, and her husband, Steve Backshall, naturalist and TV adventurer, competed with each other on the course.

Ultimate Ninja UK features a 5000 square feet twin lane competition obstacle course including salmon ladders, a spider wall and the mighty 4.25m warped wall. It opens to the public on 26th November 2016. To find out more click here
