Appeal launched to buy the biggest Norfolk and Suffolk Broad
An urgent appeal has been launched to buy the biggest of the 63 broads in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Hickling Broad, just north of Great Yarmouth, is considered to be of international importance and famous for being home to the booming bittern.
The current owner has agreed to sell it to The Norfolk Wildlife Trust for 2.3million pounds but they're a million short and have just five months to find the money.
