Norwich's biggest science festival opens - prepare to be amazed !

An inflatable planetarium, a magic sandbox and a life size section of the Large Hadron Collider are among the exciting exhibits at Norwich's first city-wide science festival.

Professor Robert Winston and TV stargazer Mark Thompson are among the celebrity speakers at the event which started today and goes on for two weeks.

Norwich's scientific institutions and research parks are revered the world over. Now there's a chance to inspire the scientists of tomorrow.

This is the city's first big science festival with events right across Norwich until October 30th.

The Forum is the hub venue for the Festival with events also at Norwich Playhouse, OPEN, Norwich Arts Centre, Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form and other city locations.
