Pride of Britain East winner revealed: Jane Allen

Throughout this week we've been meeting the regional finalists for this year's Daily Mirror Pride of Britain ITV fundraiser award.

We can now reveal the winner for Anglia East is… Jane Allen.

Jane runs the Indee Rose charity in memory of her daughter who died after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

She’s decorated a room full of toys for one purpose only: to bring a smile to the faces of children being treated for brain or spinal cancer.

She puts together treasure boxes that are sent out across the country. Using the £250,000 Jane has raised so far, The Indee Rose Trust also provides holiday homes and grants for families.

With her treasure boxes and her outlook Jane has brought a lot of light into many poorly children's lives during some very dark times.
