Moment boy with cerebral palsy walks without crutches
A community in Essex has helped an eight-year-old from Braintree fulfil his dream of walking.
Lenny Pyne has cerebral palsy and before had to use crutches to get about.
Now, after extensive physiotherapy, he is starting to walk for periods unaided. Daniel Robinson & Sons funeral directors decided to donate some of their proceeds from their annual charity golf day to Lenny for his treatment. This is the moment he walked without his crutches.
Fundraisers have managed to source £40,000 more. It will mean he can continue with the life-changing treatment for another two years.
