Talent scouts have been looking for the paralympic stars of the future at a wheelchair tennis session in Ipswich.

Following on from the success of Paralympics GB in Rio and the likes of Norfolk’s Alfie Hewett, the Push2Podium event was aimed at spotting those with potential to take them forward to selection camps and help them achieve their dreams.

Sam Scowen, Tennis Manager, Ipswich Sports Club said

Among those taking part at Ipswich sports club were Ruby Bishop and Ben Bartram from Norwich.

Both play wheelchair basketball and say double Paralympic silver medalist and Wimbledon doubles champion Alfie Hewett has inspired them to take up tennis too.
