A village in West Norfolk is mourning the loss of a campaigner who battled to stop its fire station from closing.

In a cruel twist of fate, Tracey Swann, from Heacham near King's Lynn, died after fire tore through her terraced house on Saturday night.

The crew she fought so hard to protect have been left devastated that they were unable to save her from the flames.
