Norwich City shock Premier League Everton to reach next round of EFL Cup
Everton 0-2 Norwich City
A much-changed Norwich City pulled off a shock in the EFL Cup by knocking out Premier League side Everton at Goodison Park.
The Canaries made 10 changes for the match but still had enough to pick up an impressive victory against their in-form opponents.
Steven Naismith gave The Championship side the lead against his old club in the first-half courtesy of a lucky finish which looped off his standing foot.
Everton pushed hard for an equaliser after the break, but winger Josh Murphy put the game to bed with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box just before the end.
The victory means Norwich progress to the last 16 of the League Cup which they've won twice in their history.
It's also Norwich's fourth win in a row in all competitions.
