Delight for Cambridgeshire hockey player as Team GB win dramatic gold
Cambridgeshire hockey player Hannah Macleod has tweeted her delight after Team GB's women's hockey team secured a first ever Olympic gold medal by beating the Netherlands in Rio.
Hannah, who started out playing for St Ives hockey club, tweeted a photograph of the team jumping for joy.
It's also a triumph for the team coach Danny Kerry who was born in King's Lynn.
The match ended 3-3 after normal time, before Great Britain won 2-0 on penalty strokes on Friday.
This was the first time Britain have won a women's Olympic hockey gold medal. At London 2012, they managed to scoop silver.
Victory means Team GB have now won 24 gold medals at Rio 2016 - bringing the medal haul to 60.
