Beatrix Potter drawings found hidden in books at a Suffolk stately home
Four never-seen-before drawings by the author Beatrix Potter have been discovered during cleaning work at a stately home in Suffolk.
The secret sketches by the woman who wrote 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' and other children's classics were found hidden inside books at the National Trust's Melford Hall near Sudbury.
Beatrix Potter was born 150 years ago on July 28th 1866. Visitors can see the new-found sketches in an exhibition from July 13th.
