Two incredible brothers who took inspiration from each other have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.

Liam Fairhurst captured the hearts of the nation when he began his fundraising efforts after being diagnosed with cancer.

Now, seven years after his death, his little brother Callum has just completed his biggest challenge yet - taking Liam's legacy around the world- on a marathon charity bike ride. He finished in Times Square in New York earlier this week after 17,342 miles.

Callum Fairhurst began his adventure last summer to raise money for the Liam Fairhurst Foundation, which was set up in memory of his brother. The foundation supports children with cancer and other conditions.

Liam was 10 when he was diagnosed with cancer back in 2005. By the time he died four years later - he'd managed to raise more than £300,000 for charity.

Callum has now raised more than £21,000 for charity on his round the world bike ride.
