Play celebrates the life of forgotten Suffolk poet, George Crabbe

Despite writing one of our best known poems, George Crabbe is a barely remembered writer. The Aldeburgh-born poet wrote Peter Grimes, later adapted by composer, Benjamin Britten, for his opera of the same name.
Theatre group, 'Stuff of Dreams' are touring a play about his life and the poem, Peter Grimes. It's been written by local playwright, Ray Rumsby, and is called, aptly, 'Forgotten'. To find out where it's being show clickhere
