A 35-year-old lorry driver from Bletchley has been jailed for four years following the death of a seven-year-old boy in a crash last year.

Mohammed Ali Ahmed died when the car he was travelling in was hit by Christopher Mallett's lorry.

Mallet, of Clyde Place, Bletchley, had been driving along the A4146 at Stoke Hammond, near Milton Keynes, when he crashed with the stationary silver Toyota Rav 4 on the southbound carriageway.

Yesterday, he was sentenced to four years in prison and banned from driving for three and a half year. He was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving following a trial at Aylesbury Crown Court last month.
