Hundreds turn out for Royal Anglians' homecoming parade
Hundreds of people lined the streets of Norwich for the homecoming parade of the Royal Anglian Regiment. It was the first time they have paraded through the city for five years.
It may have been a wet Wednesday but the crowds cheered on The Vikings as they exercised their right to the Freedom of the City.
It marked the end of their latest operations in Afghanistan. Combat missions ended last year, but the Vikings had still been on active duty providing mentoring, support, advice, training and security to the Afghan government and its local forces.
