The 1st Queen's Dragoon Guards have been welcomed to Norfolk, following a stint in Germany.
The cavalry regiment moved to Robertson Barracks in Swanton Morley this summer as part of the Army’s rebasing plans.
A hundred dragoons attended an event on Thursday 10 September to mark their arrival, hosted by the chairmen of Norfolk County Council and Breckland District Council.
Both councils were presented with a statue commemorating the regiment's involvement in the Battle of Waterloo, which had its 200th anniversary in June.
Former British Army head of General Lord Dannatt and Norfolk’s Armed Forces Commissioner Tony Tomkinson also attended the welcome event.
