Sheringham on his first home game: "I have come here with an idea and they are all buying into it"
Ahead of Stevenage's first home pre-season friendly, Teddy Sheringham has spoken about managing his first game at the Lamex on Friday.
The former England striker replaced Graham Westley at Broadhall Way after his contract expired on May 31.
Sheringham, who is 49, left his role as attacking coach at West Ham to make his first foray into management.
Having worked with the players for two weeks now, the boss says he couldn’t be happier with how the squad have applied themselves to his methods.
Three new signings have come through the door this summer and with about a month until the season starts, Teddy admits that the squad still needs bolstering.
