A community in Kettering is raising money to help a family who've lost almost everything in a house fire.

James and Michelle Barrow are now living with family after a fire broke out in their conservatory on Monday afternoon.

The cause of the fire hasn't been confirmed yet, but the family know they've lost most of their possessions - worth thousands of pounds.

But above all, they're glad nobody was hurt.

They're living with family round the corner for now, but it could be a year before they can get back inside this house.

It's particularly bad for their son Jordan - he has autism and doesn't cope well with changes to his routine.

The Barrows are well known in Kettering for all their fundraising work, and now the local community has raised more than £1,000 to help them.

The family say they're in touch with the council about finding somewhere else to live.

But for now - the Barrows can only try and salvage what they can.
