Final line up for Big Weekend announced

The final line up for Radio 1's big weekend in Norwich includes some of the biggest bands and acts around.Muse and Foo Fighters will join Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine, while boy-band Five Seconds of Summer, George Ezra, Imagine Dragons, The Vaccines, Ben Howard, Fall Out Boy, Clean Bandit and David Guetta will also all be heading to Norwich.

Muse will be playing on the main stage on Saturday, while Foo Fighters take their place on Sunday.

Cambridgeshire's Sam Smith and Essex boy Olly Murs will also be performing.

Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine were the first acts to be announced in what's being billed as Europe’s biggest free music festival in Earlham Park on May 23 and 24.

Clean Bandit was the first act to be named this morning to perform on Sunday, followed by George Ezra and rock band Imagine Dragons.

Other acts already confirmed this year include Years and Years, plus Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Gates for the weekend are expected to open at noon and will close at about 11pm on each day.
