280,000 people are expected through Stansted Airport over the four day Easter break.

The airport handles 20 million passengers a year and is Britain's fastest growing airport.

550 miles of roadworks have been removed by the Highways Agency, to cope with the increased levels of traffic.

209 sets of roadworks will be lifted, leaving almost 97% of its road network free running.

In the east, schemes on the A14, A421 and A1(M) are being lifted.

Network Rail says there will be some works carried out over the weekend.
