Norwich City loanee Graham Dorrans says that he is targeting promotion to the Premier League, after extending his stay at Carrow Road until May.

The West Brom midfielder has impressed since initially joining in February, making eight appearances.

Dorrans will now be eligible for any play-off campaign, should Norwich require them, although the 27-year-old is hopeful that the Canaries can claim an automatic promotion spot instead.

Despite the positive news regarding Dorrans' extension, Norwich didn't manage to get any other business done on loan deadline day.

The Canaries were in the hunt for a new striker to cover for the loss of injured forward Lewis Grabban, and had been interested in signing Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom.

However, the 19-year-old made the move to Nottingham Forest instead after being promised more first team opportunities at the City Ground.
