A huge tyre fire which has been burning all night is still causing problems for commuters in Essex this morning.

Crews were called to the Fairglen Interchange in Rayleigh just before 9pm last night (9 March) - but it's taken hours to get the flames under control because the tyres were so tightly packed together.

As a result, the nearby A1245 is likely to be closed for much of the day.

Train services on the Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street rail line have also been affected and bus replacements are being provided.
